often ‘less is more’ when it comes to melodic playing.
Use lots of phrasing and dynamics (loud and soft) to
bring out the emotion of this sad tune.
As far as techniques are concerned, there’s an
abundance of bends, double stops and much more for
you to practice. Once you’ve got it down feel free to
improvise, but stay true to the fundamental melody.
