On-Line Lessons
It’s always better to have a ‘one to one’ lesson in the comfort of my custom ‘covid secure’ music room. However, if this is not possible (many of my guitar students are ‘housebound’ or live abroad) my ON-Line Lessons are a good alternative. The following are a few pointers to ensure a successful, trouble free, and enjoyable lesson. 1. Contact me first by phone/text/email to arrange a day and time for your lesson. Give me an idea as to what you would like to cover. If you are not sure thats fine, I’ll soon know what you need to know, and we’ll have a great time anyway! 2. Please pay the £20 lesson fee prior to the lesson - I will give you the details. 3. If possible, please wear headphones. Typical P.C’s, and laptops have poor quality sound output and it can be difficult hearing in detail what I am demonstating to you. 4. If you are using the inbuilt P.C/Laptop camera please place so both your hands and your guitar appear central so I can see what you are doing. 5. Please have a good internet connection. Most of my ON-Line lessons use Zoom, but there are times when the network is very busy and ‘drop out’ is experienced. It’s very annoying for everyone and not much, if anything, can be done about it, but a good internet connection will go some way to reduce this. 6. Please choose a time/day when we won’t be interrupted. I will teach you the building blocks (foundations) of what you need to know to take your guitar playing to the level you want. You will recieve mp3 audio files and mp4 video files to help you progress. I take your custom seriously, and will do all thats neccasary to help you achieve your goals whether for your personal enjoyment or music career.
“I’m looking forward very much to our guitar lesson, and to helping you achieve your guitar goals”.
